FAKE HORROR MOVIE POSTERS: PART I

My friend Al Perez and I have been going back and forth making fake horror movie posters. I must credit him with starting this activity and apparently he's been doing it for years. His are better than mine, but I believe I'm getting better. Here is the first batch, displayed here in the order in which they were created, for your viewing pleasure. All were made using Pages '09.

THE FACE OF DOOM HAS THREE EYES
For my first attempt, I went for a "DVD cover of a Lucio Fulci movie" look. I think it turned out okay.
THE DEAD EAT THE LIVING
My worst effort. You can't even read the title. What a pile.

FANTASMO
Al has a bad habit of erasing all his posters before saving. This is the first one I got him to send me, and it is brilliant! Looks kind of like a Criterion Collection cover.

DEATH IS A WOMAN... AND SHE'LL EAT YOUR SOUL
Another bad effort on my part. I like the swirly letters for the second half of the title (I achieved this effect by minimizing the Pages window and freezing it mid-minimize. This is a small hack I learned from fellow co-worker Kevin Kiley) but overall this is lacking.
FANTASMO (Alternate)
Al's second attempt at the the FANTASMO poster. This I think tops the first. It does make it feel less like a movie about bondage and more like Mario Bava's DANGER DIABOLIK, but that's a good thing. His best poster to date.
EVIL WEARS A YELLOW JACKET!
My latest try and easily my best. I finally realized I have to download cooler fonts.
